Why call himself a Green Dog Democrat?

David believes the key to America’s future economic growth and stability lies in our ability to become energy independent by going green as big as possible. While climate change is real and dangerous, the world wide depletion of our natural energy resources are approaching crisis level. The sooner we green our economy, the better our future becomes.

As the representative for TX-33 in DC, David will work to ensure that the needed financial incentives are applied to alternative energy projects. David will help fossil fuel companies change over to renewable energy companies. David knows how to create green jobs and make sure those jobs put the people of this district to work.

David De La Paz is the right choice for Texas District 33.

We Must Choose Our Future

David has become very concerned about the direction of our country’s future. We left that future in the hands of the Republican Party for 16 years and 3 more as the party of NO, doing a tremendous amount of damage to this country and the world.

President Obama ran on two slogans: “Change!” and “Yes, we can!” Under his leadership, we have achieved a lot of that change, but it will take time and commitment to get our future back on track. It will also take more than President Obama. The President needs partners in Congress; partners committed not to special interests or fanatical idealogy, but to doing the hard work it takes to achieve real and lasting change. David De La Paz will be just that type of Representative.

Beyond that, though, it will take each and every one of us to make the commitment to support that change. We Must Choose Our Future. Because if we don’t choose, someone else will choose it for us as we just seen in the deficit-debt ceiling battle.
